Marriott's Mountainside, Park City, UT

Marriott's Mountainside is a 400,000 sf., 181 unit timeshare facility. It's unique design recalls the old silver mines that were a part of Park City's unique heritage. The Silver King mine was a well known landmark until it was destroyed in a tragic fire. Mountainside pays homage to the old mine by using a similar material palette but in a more contemporary vocabulary.
This facility has been voted as one of the top 20 best timeshare facilities in the world.

Gerard Lee, AIA was the job captain at the Associate level on this project while at BSA Architects. His responsibilities included the design studies of the exterior facade, plan layout, detailing and production of this building. He was involved on this project from concept through construction.
