Diablo Valley College was happy to announce the opening of their new bookstore in time
for the Fall 2006 semester.
The bookstore is a 16,500sf steel framed, 3 level (including basement storage that links to a loading facility),
curtain wall glazed, skylit structure that utilizes sustainable design strategies and the latest trends in bookstore sales.
Good design comes about through talent, skill, and the ability to approach detailing a building as craftsmanship.
Gerard Lee, AIA LEED NCARB was the project architect and lead designer of the design team while at BSA Architects. The client of this project will be more than happy to discuss this building and provide references for Gerard Lee, AIA. Please contact us for the bookstore manager's contact info.
